Why YANK33

YANK33 is a clothing house that behaves like a design studio. A design is drawn. A run of 33 is made. Then it is finished.

Tough Cold Siberia is the climate of the work — cold, heavy, a little unfriendly. The line сильный как медведь в лесу — strong like Bear in the forest — is the brief, not a slogan we expect you to decode alone.

What is the story behind the name?

YANK33 is the mark. The 33 is the count — the hard limit on how many of each design will ever exist. The name is the rule, worn.

What does Siberia represent?

The temperature of the work. Heavy cloth, unfriendly designs, no seasonal filler. Siberia is the brief, not a tourist caption.

What does 33 mean?

Thirty-three pieces. That is the edition. Not a season and not a restock number.

Why are there only 33 of each design?

Because a design that can be made again forever is not an edition. After 33, the design is retired for good.
